Young Minds Online Final Showcase in Salerno Last week Transition Year students in Salerno Secondary School in Salthill Galway presented their final projects at a showcase in the school. After seven months of hard work the Transition Year girls in Salerno Secondary School, Salthill have completed Young Minds Online Transition Year course. Next week we will celebrate their achievement and commitment to being ambassadors of best practice online at the Young Minds Online final showcase in Salerno school. There are very many reasons why we need to protect Young Minds Online. As a mother of two children and a regular speaker and mentor in schools, I have found that while tweens and teens are up to date with social technologies, their appreciation for protecting their online privacy and reputation is minimal. I began thinking quite seriously about this topic and decided that I could and should do something about it.
