With the new year brings new opportunities and new plans. Here at Digital Training Institute our team is preparing for new client projects, new business ventures and stepping up the digital activity of existing clients. New EdTech StartUp

We will be working on the Digital Marketing for new EdTech startup Webiket which I will launch with my business partner Lisa Wright in the first quarter of 2015. You will probably notice the logo on my new email signature. Webiket provides a suite of eLearning modules on cyber wellbeing and is home to my courses for teens and tweens Young Minds Online.

2015 will also see us extend our suite of Digital Marketing services from social media concierge, digital strategy development and implementation, PPC, SEO, online PR, digital design, web design, web development and campaign development.We are also updating our website to reflect this. We are currently working on digital projects for Smile Revolution, City Vet, Omagh Enterprise and Clare Local Development Company.

Training & Mentoring

On the training front I am looking forward to working with new clients to deliver one of our courses or indeed to write and deliver bespoke courses.  I have quite a few bookings already up to March 2015 but there are some windows of opportunity if you have some immediate training needs. I am also working on my new suite of online courses so you will be able to attend any one of my courses from anywhere in the world this year. I also offer group and one-to-one mentoring so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need some direction. Already we have group bookings for Clare Local Development Company and the Harnessing Creativity programme.

Guest Speaking

As you many know, I am a regular guest speaker on a range of topics from media to business, personal development and motivation to social media and digital marketing.  On January 11th I will MC the Nollag na mBan Luncheon in Kilronan Castle in Sligo in aid of Simon North West. While later in the month I am guest speaker at a business breakfast in Dublin on the subject of digital marketing.

My First Book

I will realise a life dream this year when I publish my first book. Social Media Under Investigation – Law Enforcement and the Social Web is a book which analyses how police forces worldwide are using social media to investigate and solve crime. It’s been a labour of love over the past 18 months and gives me an opportunity to focus on a niche area of social media. I will also launch a new complementary website www.lawenforcementobserver.com where I will continue to blog and publish articles on this theme.
