Earlier this year I wrote a summer a course with my 18-year old daughter Sophie aimed at Transition Year students.

I’ve long held the idea that tweens and teens who are the social media generation are guiding themselves through it. Very often parents aren’t aware of the pitfalls or indeed advantages of social.

And so they cannot be of help in trying online situations.

Step in Sophie and I. A mother and daughter duo who have guided each other through the social media journey from age 13-18.

We are very proud that our course Young Minds Online is now being rolled out in Salerno Secondary School in Salthill, Galway with 49 girls researching six different modules.
