Have you finally gotten a handle on your company’s Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram accounts? Good: Because it’s time to change. In fact, if there’s one thing that’s certain about social media, it’s that there’s always something new on the horizon.
For 2016, breakout apps are all over the board in terms of capabilities. There are texting apps and video apps, of course, but the biggest deal is creating community in all sorts of spaces and in all sorts of topics.
That last part is important, because social media isn’t confined to just the United States and Europe. The popularity of connectivity is spreading worldwide, with estimates at about two billion users across the globe. Figuring out what they want and how you can engage them is key to long-term viability. Because as much as social media helps people connect on a personal level, it also lets them connect with who you are and what you provide.
