The Perfect Pancake:

Well I’m no expert myself but over the years trying to master the perfect pancake tuesday pancake I have attained some of these foolproof tips.

Find a simple recipe, something simple and easy but tastey, you will be guaranteed to make no mistakes, and you can add a little extra when you dress them up for their ‘photoshoot’ later.

Actually measure your ingredients, it’s easy to just guess away and throw in what you think is the right quantity but if you use the correct measurements there is no way your pancake making can go wrong.

Get yourself a nice pan, preferably greaseproof a good pan does all the work and when it comes to flipping those pancakes of yours it will look like a natural talent of yours.

Now to dress up your pankcakes and get them photo ready for their Facebook/Instgram/Twitter debut.

If you like fruit on your pankcakes choose something with a rich or bright colour so that they will stand out in the photo, fruits like berries will give a photo that extra oomph.

If your a nutella fan, sprnkle some icing sugar on your pankcake and then heat it up some nutella and drizzle it delicatly across your pancake and add some pink and whiite marshmallows or strawberries to add that finishing contrast of colours.

Or if your a simple pancake fan why don’t you drizzle honey, or sprinkle sugar on your pancake as you take the photo, and maybe place a wedge of lemon beside it to add a bit of colour.

Don’t forget to plate up your pancake on a nice plate too, your pancake will need a nice backdrop to make a pretty photo.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Now it’s the pancakes  turn to take the spotlight. Find somwhere with good natural lighting to take your pic, don’t use a flash it will make the surrounding of the photo look to dark, find a nice angle and take the photo.

If your an instagram fan upload your photo to instagram first, instgram has some great filters that will add that finishing touch to your picture to make everyones mouth water. When uploading onto instgram click the Facebook and Twitter icons and have them upload on all three all at once.

Bon Appetit!
